I’ve watched a lot of people fall away from their faith. I’ve seen a lot of Christians turn away from God. I could name more individuals who didn’t make it then I could name strong, steady, and firm believers.
Seeing how many have failed and have fallen short, have been ensnared in the ways of the world and have been taken in the Devil’s crafty traps, why even try? Why not just give up now?
I could easily be discouraged as I watch my dear friends, my brothers & my sisters, take the world and reject their Creator, their Maker.
But, though it most certainly crushes me and makes me sad, it influences me in a good way too. Because I see it happen, and I say, “I don’t want that to happen to me!” I don’t want to be the Christian that is brought down, to the pain of those who know them.
I want to be that person that is still standing. The one who keeps going. I want to be the soldier that stays to fight, even though others are deserting by the dozen. The person that inspires others to never give up.
So I refuse to let these things get me down. I refuse to be discouraged by all those who fly in the face of danger, or are lured away, or become traitors in the cause.
Instead, it just makes me try even harder.

Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Really good words,as David says…is there not a cause….
My granddaughter just came back from youth camp and was very encouraged. It is such a blessing to see the Lord doing a work in her life to live closer to Him.
So keep pressing on for Jesus.
Love your about page. Good words
