Writing has been my escape almost ever since I could hold a pen. I still have, packed away in a box, hundreds of pages of musings, poems, and unfinished scribblings. But those were just the beginning.
My name is Leah and I live in northern California.
I am the oldest of 8 kids, 6 of which are boys! 👩👨👨👨👨👧👦👶
A few things I enjoy are: taking walks, rainy days, quiet mornings reading the Bible, teaching Sunday school (I currently teach ages 2-5), adventurous books, deep conversations, researching different “conspiracy theories”, soccer and volleyball (though I’m not good at either), friends, family and music!
I am a home school graduate & was home schooled my whole life! I am so grateful for all the time and work my parents, and especially my mom, put into teaching me & my siblings. I am currently in my second year of JC, and I am working part time babysitting for some great families, as well as tutoring pre-algebra. I teach Sunday school for 2-5 year-olds, and an art class for kindergarten-7th grade at my church’s home school co-op.
I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I know that salvation is by grace alone through faith and the result of true repentance from sin is shown by our obedience to God.
I believe that the KJV (or AV) is the perfect word of God in the English language, therefore all references are KJV. Some of my favorite books are Genesis, Isaiah, and Matthew!
I started this blog not only because I love to write, but because I have a great desire to be an encouragement to other brothers and sisters in Christ. I say many prayers over this site. May God inspire me, and every word be His, and not my own. He alone can use it all for good. He alone can lead us all to wisdom.
P.S: Though I do my best to be led by the Bible, I am human & I make mistakes. I can be wrong like anyone else. It is not my intention to lead anyone down a wrong path. Please do not only listen to what I say, but use the Bible to judge what I write. I only try to encourage people to think about certain things & study them. May God bless all those who diligently seek Him.
